Dublin Part 2

Saturday: we visited the Guinness factory, loved the beer and the stunning view from the top of the building (picture 8) - later on we walked to the "jail" and after a while we could do a tour through it - heading back to the centre, stopped by the "Dublin Castle" and took silly pictures in a souvenir shop (pics follow soon) - tea in our hostel room - in the evening we went to Tempel Bar and met up with a friend, drunk Guinness (it definitely tastes better in Ireland than in England) and listen to Irish folk music. We just had a perfect day/night.


In the next few days I'm gonna post some more pictures from our trip to the sea!

Dublin Part 1

I spent my Easter weekend in Dublin and had some absolutly awesome days with my two lovely friends. Fortunately we met some locals on the train, so they told us all the good stuff we shouldn't miss. Our journey was very loooong (7h), but it was quite funny to be on a ferry. Our hostel "The Globetrotters" was perfect, so if you are planning to go to Dublin try to get a room in this hostel.
Actually we wanted to go out on Friday night, but as it was Good Friday every pub was shut and no restaurant/bar/club sold any alcohol in Dublin. So we had our own party in our 3 bed dorm with the great music channel, wine (bought on the ferry) and our Dancing Queen, my dear friend T.
Oh have you ever heard English with an Irish accent? That sounds sooo awesome, sometimes quite hard to understand but just so cute. Love it!

My sunday: Broadway market with delicious food like my lunch meal, ravioli with spinach and ricotta - walking next to the channel and finding the "Woodstock" boat - taking pictures of old houses - wanted to stop by a model agency, but it was closed, NEXT time - smoking shishas in Camden, first we had cherry as the flavour, second double apple - eating Chinese food at midnight - AND later on we took the tube home... What a day!!

On friday i'm off to Dublin, can't waiiiiiit.
